r-FOIL NT Radiant Barrier Reflective Insulation blocks 97% of radiant heat transfer.  If you've ever used one of those foil windshield panels in your car then you're already familiar with the principle.  When using a foil windshield panel your car is noticeably cooler, even in the hottest and sunniest of days.  That's because the sun's heating rays are reflected back out of your vehicle.  r-FOIL NT Radiant Barrier Reflective Insulation works using the same principle.

 In hot and cold weather areas of the U.S.:  Simply lay r-FOIL NT Radiant Barrier Reflective Insulation over your attic's existing insulation.  r-FOIL creates a radiant barrier that reflects heat back into your living space.  Helps reduce your heating and cooling costs.


r-FOIL NT Radiant Barrier Reflective Insulation reflects 97% of radiant heat transfer, protects the installed R-value of attic insulation by controlling moisture and adds an additional R-5.4 to existing insulation.
Made of 99% pure aluminum foil, rFOIL ATTIC NT creates a low-emissivity (low-e) surface to help reduce heat gain in the summer and heat loss in the winter.
When vapor enters the attic from the living space, r-FOIL NT Radiant Barrier Reflective Insulation helps diffuse the vapor through its breathable membrane. This helps prevent the formation of damaging mold, mildew and wood rot in attic/roof spaces.
